Video of Grimoire interior

I just into this gem on youtube: a video of the interior of Grimoire! It's short and sweet, showing a bit of the fashion and the decor. It's funny, the music playing in the background is my province's official anthem, lol.
(The video is by the blogger of The Fashionate Traveller, read her awesome blog here )

Some delightful finds!

Big post today, but full of great finds. Before I post the actual "finds", what's going to be coming up this week on my blog:

1)Some tutorials!
2)A list of relevent links!
3)Hair and make-up!
4)Some outfit posts from your's truly here XD

And...on to my finds from this weekend!

I am so excited for these! 30$ cdn at H&M. I'm going to replace the laces with ribbon. They also come in brown,

Also from H&M, also 30$ cdn. I really like the unusual colour, and the braiding detail. I'm making a new gold-tone raccoon tail to attach to it.

Gorgeous eyelet lace top from Envy, on sale for 20$ It's too big, but I'm going to use it for layering anyhow so it'll be fine.

Vintage furry collar thing, 12$. I'm pretty sure the fur is fake, hence the cheapness. I'm going to add some brown ribbon that can be tied in a bow to keep it closed.

Necklace from Claire's, 16.50$. It had a second chain attached to it with some bird and flowers charms, but I removed them.

Second-hand lace shirt, 14$. The lace on the top is really great, and it has cute button detailing on the shoulders.

A cotton polka-dot dress. I'm excited to use this in a dolly cord. Will look better when it's not wrinkly, lol.

And last but not least, my big "investment piece" for the week. A really AMAZING crinoline from BCBG. It had been 190$, but was on sale for 76$ so I snatched it up. Pricey, but I'll be able to wear it under and over so many outfits.

A winter princess longing for spring? (insert your own pretentious title here, lol).

Today I was obsessed with off-whites, dusty roses and pale greens. So I ate french cremes and came up with this coordinate:

And some Garage Chanson Show, because it is amazing:

Polka-dots, this & that.

Re-posting this beautiful coordiate from the Grimoire blog. I had been thinking about using polka-dots in a Dolly Kei ensemble, but had been hesitant because it isn't typical of the patterns you see. Silly me, it works and looks AMAZING:

I'll definitely be attempting a polka-dot coordinate after seeing this.

Came across this beautiful tapestry bag, not only is it gorgeous, but it's huge! I love a huge purse (I'm a pack-rat). Sadly, try as I might, I couldn't find any information about it, whether it's vintage or something newer I could purchase.

Beautiful Russian-inspired Dresses

My daily google search for lovely things was really fruitful today. I found some amazing russian-inspired dresses, in all price ranges. And most of them have simple enough details you could probably make your own version using premade trims and dresses (or at least very inspired versions).

First dress is by Chanel. I couldn't find a price for it, but it's one of those things you can replicate inexpensively so meh.

Gorgeous little ensemble by Kenzo:

Probably my favorites, however I wasn't paying enough attention to jot down where they were from. I do remember them being very inexpensive however.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS dress from Anna Sui:

This is so beautiful I want to cry. From Chanel, but you can get the look easily from adding pre-made embroidery trim to a military inspired jacket. These furry hats are also plentiful right now, especially in men's clothing.

From Urban Outfitters. Again, something you can very easily replicate with a simple peasant dress and pre-made embroidery trim. You could even sew tapestry panels on it to get a similar look.

Happy New Year!

Because crammed, crowded and chaotic vintage and antique stores make my heart go pitter-patter:

Back from Holiday! A Coordinate!

So, I'm back from my wonderful Christmas holiday, with lots of things to take pictures of for this blog! I'm still in relax mode though, so in the meantime, I'll post this little coordinate I did today:
